Drugstore Starter Kit

Hey guys,
So the other day I was looking through all my old makeup from when I first started buying makeup and I thought it would be a good idea to write a post about some cheap makeup products that I have used before. In this starter kit there are products for your face, eyes, lips and there are also some brushes.

In this picture there is a bronzer (MUA Bronze, £5)
a matte powder (Rimmel Stay Matte £3.99)
and an eyebrow kit (Collection Eyebrow Kit £3.99)
These are all extremely easy to use and great for starting out.

In this picture there is a concealer (Rimmel Wake Me Up £5.49)
a lip liner (MUA £1)
and a lipstick also from MUA £1.

These to are probably my favourites out of this whole post, they are two eyeshadow palettes. These palettes are really good for starting off because they're not too expensive and have just about enough pigment so there is no way of overdoing it. The top one (the green/blue one) is a barry m palette called Summer Shadow & Glow Love Palette and I can't find it on the website but on Amazon its around £7.50.
The second palette is a dupe for one of the naked palettes, its from a shop called W7 and is around £9.

Finally, I have some brushes and I think they were from Primark. There are probably better brushes out there from drugstores but these were all I had and they just about do the job especially if you just want something cheap.

I hope you enjoyed this post and that it helped you if you were looking for some cheap makeup to start off with. Please let me know what other posts you would like me to do. Bye. Xxx

February Fashion 2016

Hey guys...

Today I'm going to be talking you through what's in fashion this month. Lets start of with the tops:
Patterns are very in right now, especially zig zags and brights. We also need to make sure we are exposing our: shoulders, abs and décolletage. Some tops do this all in one, other times you might not want expose all of this, for example: I don't like to expose my décolletage but I do like wearing crop tops. Here is an example of a top I own, that is fashionable:

This top was from new look a while ago and was around £6 - £10. It is good quality, however not very stretchy.      Rating: 9/10

Now let's talk about trousers/skirts. Skinny jeans are going out of fashion now and rigid/straight fitted jeans are coming back. I haven't had chance to get myself some of these yet, but here is what they look like:

You could if you wanted to, wear patterns on your legs instead of as a top. This skirt is from Matalan:

If you're more of a dress kind of girl, then don't panic, they're still fashionable too. Here are two dresses I own, both from new look and priced around £10 to £15.  Rating 8/10

The only bad thing I find with these dresses is that they suit a certain body type. With me the dress goes ab it loose on my back and neck. I'm not sure if this is because I have worn them so much that they have started to go loose or if its because of my body type. However I still love them and they're really nice. Rating 8/10

I hope you enjoyed this, don't forget to comment and tell me what you think.

1 Year On My Blog!

Hey guys...

I can't believe it has been a whole year since I started my blog. Already I have had over 2500 page views, 4 followers, and around 60 comments. One of my highlights has been my competition I did on Summer and interviewing Beckii Whiting! I know I haven't been very active on here or my Instagram recently but I have been so busy with school work and it's all about to get very busy again soon so I want to make the most of now. Recently, I have been getting more into fashion and I think I might make my blog more about fashion. I have been reading Vogue or Elle every month and think I might start to summarise what the new fashion is.

Thank you for reading.

Christmas Photo Booth

Hey everyone...
So this may be a bit last minute but it's super easy and fun to do. I think it's something great to do with your family on Christmas Day. Here's how to make it:

You will need:
Scissors
Sellotape
Red straws
A festive cup (to hold them in after)
Printed out Christmas pictures

1. Get your printed out pictures and stick them onto some red card to make them stronger. This will also look better than just the normal white back as that isn't very festive.

2. Cut them out

3. Place the picture face down and put a straw into it. The straw will be the stick part that you hold.

4. Neaten the edges with scissors if you have any sellotape around the picture.

5. Place them all in the cup and you're ready to take lots of fun pictures!

I hope you have lots of fun with these if you decide to make them. If you make them please take a picture and tag me in it on Instagram, my name is:

Christmas Eve 2015

Hey everybody...
Seeing as it is Christmas tomorrow I thought I would do a post about what I do on Christmas Eve with my family. I hope you like this post.

Firstly, my Dad will make sausage rolls which are amazing.

Then we all play games together, and eat those Christmas snacks. This is something I love to do at Christmas because it really brings the family together, and to me thats what Christmas is all about.

As the evening comes we put a Christmas film on, these two are probably my favourites along with 'love actually'

Lastly, we open the quality street which personally is one of my favourite things to do as these are my favourite chocolates/sweets.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Have an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year!

The Clothes Show ~ New Trends

Hello,
The other day I went to the clothes show and it was amazing! In case you don't already know the clothes show is where you can buy lots of beauty and fashion products for a much cheaper price than usual. There is usually some famous people there that you can meet - this year there was Joey Essex, Sprinke of Glitter and others. I didn't get chance to meet any famous people but I saw Joey Essex from a distance. Then there is an optional catwalk/fashion show which was actually my favourite part of the day. In today's post I will tell you about the new trends and the catwalk/fashion show part and in another post I will tell you what I bought.

First of all, the main trends this season are going to be:
Sequins
Dark/reds
Romance
And there was another that I can't remember.
Oasis are going to be selling reds.
Debenhams will be selling blacks/romance.
New look will be selling the sequins.

Then there was the actual catwalk. The outfits from this were amazing. The detail on some is incredible.
There isn't really much to say about the catwalk so instead I am just going to upload the pictures:

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed having a fashion related post. Please let me know what Christmas posts you would like. Bye!

Pastel Thinking Winter Tag

Hey guys...
Right now I'm snuggling up under a cosy blanket, and listening to Christmas songs. It has come to my attention that I have not posted on here for a while, this is because school is getting really tough now and I'm constantly practicing dances for Christmas shows, and exams. I recently got my first pointe shoes and I'm so happy!!
I thought that for this Winter//Chrsitmas I would do my own 'Cosy Winter Tag'. In this is I will:
Write a section about:
Favorite winter and Christmas drink
Favorite winter and Christmas makeup product
Favorite winter and Christmas pj's
Favorite winter and Christmas food
Favorite thing to do in winter and Christmas
What I like the most about winter and Christmas

Let's get started!!

Favorite winter and Christmas drink
My favorite has to be either the Starbucks hot chocolate or any hot chocolate, with whipped cream and a candy cane over the edge of the mug.

Favorite winter and Christmas makeup product
MUA eyeshadow trio in 'Innocence'
This has three different shades of silver and if you put them all together it looks gorgeous.

Favorite winter and Christmas PJ's
Mine are a patterned trousers (blue and pink) with a blue long sleeved top form Primark I think.

Favorite winter and Christmas food
It has to be all the mini snacks you get like twiglets, quality street, celebrations, etc.

Favorite thing to do in winter and Christmas
Be with my family or to just sit in my room and watching a Christmas film with a hot chocolate and a big blanket.

What I like the most about winter and Christmas
It is an excuse to get all cuddled up at home and watch films. At Christmas I love how all the family get together and spend quality time with each other, whilst eating quality street! Christmas to me is all about family and love.

I hope you enjoyed this. Remember to have fun, and get watching Christmas films!!
